The athletic departments facebook page posted it a few minutes ago.

There is no anger at Jefferson. It's at Miles for leaving him in and playing him and not putting Lee or Mett in........

Same thing. Find an individual to blame instead of feeling like the team you associate with was not up to par. Bama fans did this with the kickers.

9-6 at Bama. So a not so good a team as we thought beat Bama at home........

I don't mean this as flaming, but yes, a team who LSU fans felt was unstoppable, which hugely inflated their egos, turned out to be not as good as they thought.

could say the same about Alabama. If they were as great as everyone claimed they would have gone undefeated.

Agreed. Note that I never said anything about the strength of Alabama's team. I was not trying to compare the two. I'm talking pure psychology and human nature. Fans tend to dissociate themselves from teams that do not live up to their expectations. See LSU basketball and Alabama baseball. If either of these teams were top 5 teams, fans would be all on the bandwagon boasting of their affiliation. When they suck, everyone says they don't really care about that sport anyways.

Ala has averaged close to 11k/game for about 25 years. Is that bandwagon?

You didn't even have a full crowd for the Auburn game in Tuscaloosa this year. 11,000 my arse

And don't try to dispute this because I was there and sat in a row nearly by myself near the top.

We're not bragging ab our lack of support. UK fans here have been acting like they run the city and are talking ab attendance even on the OT. Most LSU fans are prob just sick of hearing about it so they let the UK fans know they are the only ones who actually care, that's why.

The Bourbon Street cam is showing a lot of blue in NOLA already, and we don't even play until tomorrow.

Did you by chance attend the AU/UA game at AU?

The new Arena seats how many? (A very nice place btw)

That place would have been a freaking tomb if it hadn't been for all of the AU students packed around the court --- the Jungle ---

You should be thanking them for the money they're bringing in.

I'm not denying that Kentucky fans are out in force or that we're not thankful. I'm just saying, I'm not sure what kind of response you expected on here.

Also see the anger at Jordan Jefferson. It's much easier to place all the blame on an individual than admit the team you identify with was not as good as you thought.

Pump the brakes Mr. Mulligan........If you can't admit LSU would have ripped Bama a new one AGAIN with a half-decent QB.....then carry on.

It is what it is

I know, but I was responding to your post about LSU fans bragging about poor attendance. Trust me we'd love UK's basketball program

How is someone supposed to "admit" something about a purely hypothetical scenario? Quit making excuses.

Bama woulda' beat LSU in '07 if it weren't for JP Wilson!!!
