yea no doubt by the ole miss game our younger guys will be more seasoned.

I dont think this game will be as big as the 03 game but its going to be up there.

I'm well aware how fricked we are if we don't pull it off next year. The stars have pretty much lined up for a great run in Oxford. With LSU being LSU and Alabama getting it together, it's going to be a long time before everything lines up this well.

Of course. The SEC West is essentialy wide open next year. The East is not, however. Florida should win the East with ease.

What's bad is that after a few years, everyone is going to forget that Utah ended up #2. People are going to look back and be like... Utah? WTF?

I have a dream === that one day Arkansas may walk down the road to Atlanta and beat the Florida Gators for the SEC Championship --- then go on to the BCS national championship 45 years after our last national football championship.

Do people actually think that LSU will challenge UF?

Why not? Only one team has a proven QB and most are having to fill big holes. Alabama for sure is going to be back to reality. Arkansas may be much improved with Mallet at the helm. Auburn has plenty of talent left. LSU will be the most talented, but still have huge questions at quarterback. Not all will be good, I think three (Ole Miss, LSU, and one of the others) will be in a dogfight at the end of it.

It depends when LSU starts to turn it on. I expect y'all to be playing very well near the end of the year. I'm personally expecting a three way tie type situation, with Ole Miss going to Atlanta because frick I'm biased.

Yes. Ole Miss is the likely favorite, and LSU should be considered their main threat. However, I don't believe it can be said with absolute certainty that LSU will be signicantly better than last year. Then you have Alabama, with a new quarterback they should be in for offensive struggles, but they should have a stout defense, so if the stars align they might have a shot.

Arkansas and Auburn could act as wildcards. The only team I'd count out completely is Mississippi State.

i dont expect the barn or state to do much next year in the west. gene lost to some horrible teams at iowa state.

also LSU has had alot of success at the road games we have this year outside of uga.

we play well in oxford, ttown and we own state

arky is a bigger threat/wildcard than the barn. Bobby P is a better coach than gene and he had them playing alright by the end of the year. alot of young guys plus mallet who should end up being pretty good. I dont expect arky to play d but they could try and win shoot outs

Because Iowa State is the pinnacle of college football, and a coach should be judged by his performance in his first two years at a school like that.

I don't like that logic very much. Just because he sucked at Iowa State, that doesn't write him off as a failure for Auburn. With the staff he has hired, all he has to do is run the program like a "CEO" and we should be fine. We still do have positions to fill on the staff though.

yep LSU found this out last year. I thought we would be fine without glen. of course rjf just vanished after the tebow comments.

SC lost to Oregon St because of DT play. Replacing a big body in the middle is really hard to do, especially a guy as great as Jerry was. Couple that with losing a LT and it might be tough

pinnacle or not he should beat 1aa teams. I wouldnt expect a coach to light it up at iowa state but losing to northern iowa is a bit much. I dont think that automatically will make him a failure though. I just dont see him competing in the west next year.

I disagree with you fellow Reb. We were the more physical team that day. That was no fluke. Wake Forest beating us last year was a fluke.

Oh, I don't see us competing for the West at all. I think we can be a "wildcard" that could make a run if everything goes right for us.
