This is called projecting. You take something you feel deeply about yourself, or in this case LSU, and project it onto someone else. Or Missouri.

You aren't their super bowl. Missouri's season is not dependent on LSU. If they win they will be thrilled, if they lose well it happens time to focus on the rest of the schedule.

I hope Missouri wins, not because I hate LSU but because I like Missouri. The rest of the board doesn't give a flying fart up a running rat's arsehole.

pointless game

Hardly a pointless game. For one, Mizzou is a conference game. Any SEC game, even against a lesser team like the Yankee Tigers, or Vandy, or Kentucky, can be challenging.

Also, Missouri HAS a pulse. Didn't their 79-0 beatdown vs. Delaware St. impress you? It sure did me.

Also, it's a winnable game at a time the Tigers need to restablish an identity.

For teams with no bowl aspirations, yes I agree it's pointless to play Mizzou.

Good luck to all the great LSU posters! Here's hoping for an epic beatdown of that formidable zoo offense!!

Here is a clue, next game on the schedule. At home, against an SEC opponent. Win it, start the healing, rejoice and move forward. It makes no damn difference whether you like Mizzou being in the SEC or not!

LSU and Mizzou are polar opposites. LSU squanders recruiting advantages and underachieves yearly, while Mizzou is the quintessential overachiever. One of those is impressive and warrants respect. I'll let you mull it over and wage a guess....
