Good thing they open with UCLA instead of a creampuff, we will know a good bit more after the first game.

UCLA may very well be a cream puff, though. They've been pretty bad the past 4-5 years. If LSU loses, then yeah we'll prob learn a lot haha. But if they win, I'm not sure we'll learn much. We may not learn much about LSU until they play Auburn in week 5

True, but we can learn from how they win too. I expect LSU to win also. But the line on that game is currently hovering around -4.

it would take that because, as I have noted, it's the worst follow up season to a national title in my lifetime and that's not hyperbole or exaggeration. That's a fact.

LSU can certainly be a team of extremes. One year we post the best football season in College football history, and then follow it up with the worst post national title season. It's not perfect but it sure can be fun.

This is true every year until around November.

Yep. LSU also followed up their 2007 national title with a 7-5 season.

They all started games last year and Cam Wire is the only one that wasn't a full time starter. I couldn't tell you one OL's name on another team either.

TBH I couldn't name more than a handful of OL around the entire SEC. I wouldn't expect you to know about LSU's depth chart at OL. LSU's starting center, Liam Shanahan, was a grad transfer last year and is utilizing his free COVID year to play again this year. He played every single offensive snap for LSU last year. Chasen Hines will start at guard. He started for the first time last year in 9 games after backing up Lloyd Cushenberry in 2019. Cameron Wire has been a backup until this year. He'll be replacing Rosenthal at RT

To me the concerning thing for LSU fans is the SEC teams that are toss up games for them in 2021 that would nt have been 2 years ago.

I have LSU beating UCLA and the sisters of the poor, Aubbie and State

they will get beat by UA, aTm and UF

I think Arky, UK and Ole miss could go either way

Texas A&M. This is the answer every year, all year long.

It would be very unlikely IMO for LSU to lose to Kentucky or Arkansas. Ole Miss is a toss-up yes. But Ole Miss' defense is also still terrible.

You must be seeing something about Florida than I'm not. They're towards the bottom of the country in returning production this year, not to mention lost to a duck-taped LSU team starting a true freshman QB for his first career start last season...at home. Florida has rebuilding year written all over them. I'd put Florida in the tosss-up category as well

Well, no shite. LSU is not nearly as good as their national title team in 2019. No one is saying they are or anything even close.

Of the 3 I think OM is the biggest threat. UA had the best D in the SEC last year and you saw how OM worked that unit over.

UK is legit threat this year with their new QB and the transfer WR Wandale Robinson. They should be able yo put up some points.

Arky is the least likely but I thought Pittman did a great job last year. should improve in year 2

But but but Saban needed Alabama to be successful. These tools actually believe this.
