TCU takes advantage of what they are given and have been more successful than A&M.

TCU has definitely made better hires. That goes without saying. A&M has all the resources, but continues to make stupid decisions. Will that change?

Who knows ...

And if you put tcu in the sec, even when they made it to the national championship game last year, they wouldn’t sniff the top of the league. A&M was bad last year but they wouldn’t have lost by 58 to UGA

A lot of good coaches on that list.

Well, we have to guess it's their resources. Or money. Or recruiting base. Or fan support. Or hope.

Wait, that can't be right. Can we talk about the right coach again?

The day A$M hires a competent coach they will be the class of Texas. They have everything except the coach.

The money and resources backing A&M now are much different than even ten years ago

Yes.

Don't be an idiot.

I say that as a 2x UK grad that lives in Lexington and tailgates at the Arboretum.

Agreed. Hopefully we don't hire somebody looking for a retirement paycheck again.

I for one welcome a trash talker from SMU.

I guess the only pathetic part is that they joined a thread to White Knight for Texas Tech.

Sup with that?

They have always had money and resources but the results are still the same.

A&M money and resources are on another level these days. We have as much or more than Texas does. That will continue to escalate over the next decade ...

Texas enrollment capped at about 50M, while A&M is North of 70M and climbing. There are advantages to not being geographically constrained.
