Is there a more generic opinion to have on the Rant than that A&M is over rated and will under perform this year?
Oh, and that opposing D's will figure out JFF and/or Sumlin will leave for the NFL soon?

And I can't wait til LSU goes 0-4 against A&M, Alabama, Florida and Georgia. I think the biggest winners in all of the swamp kittens collapse will be the piggies. Arkansas hasn't felt the love from the LSU fans around here in a while.

Don't forget JFF will never make it through the season and will get killed. Or was that last year? I can't keep them all straight.

Now, other than obvious trolling, I am a reasonable-minded person when it comes to real football talk. I am pretty sure that JFF and Kliff Kingsbury hadn't figured JFF out yet and didn't quite know how to use him until his FRESHMAN season progressed. I am not saying that A&M is going to lay a beatdown like they did on OU, but let's cut the shite with this "figured out" nonsense.

we played A&M at the end of October, over halfway into the season, he came out in the first quarter and drove down the field twice easily, and then we shut him down the rest of the game.

No. Their schedule is a suckfest. Last year's Auburn team could have been 10-2 with that.

1. What part of FRESHMAN season do you not understand.
2. KK seemed to have forgotten about our running game and the three highly-talented RBs we had in the backfield. This appears to have nothing to do with JFF, but if you know football, you can see how it does. Think about it.

...and I will admit that LSU "figured out" how to beat an A&M team that ignored its running game. Again, I am not calling a W in death valley, but can we at least agree that the "figured out" thing is not really accurate, particularly given the way A&M's offense finished the season?

I'm not saying that any other team figured it out, only LSU (and maybe UF), don't blame your play calling, LSU shut down an offense that nobody else could (except UF but that was early on), plain and simple
