The thread is about college success.
Round, draft pick, etc...
God forbid another school be better than Alabama at something.

Bart Starr - 17th round 199th pick, 1956 by Green Bay
Joe Namath - 1st round 12th pick, 1965 by St Louis Cardinals (Jets took him 1st overall in AFL draft)

We're talking about NFL success apparently. In college, though, Florida is hands down the best QB school

He's just doing QB's that were drafted.
Daniel wasn't drafted and Smith.was drafted as a WR so they shouldn't be listed.
Lane ('69, 9th Rd., pick 125) and Christman ('41, 2nd Rd, pick 13) were drafted however so they should be added.

Sure thing. You'll forgive the little impromptu LSU-Bama flame war which has cropped up.

I don't know either. The OP was the one who brought up NFL success. I'm more than willing to admit that Florida is better than Alabama at QBs. I think we're all confused on what we're actually talking about though
Had potential, then OP went and confused everyone.

Normally when someone talks about a school being the U of a position they usually point to the success of those players in the NFL after they graduate. UT has put more QB's into the NFL than any other school in the SEC.(draft wise)
