Anybody with a perfect record is a contender.
That includes Indiana, Rutgers, Tennessee…

Why would losing to UGA and Alabama predicate a loss to a lower team?
You mean afterwards, and we'll be crushed and no longer fighting? If that's the case, as UGA is before only UTEP and Vandy, it would have to be one of those two.
If you mean simply that losses to those two puts us in category talent wise where we'll lose to someone else, I disagree with that. There is a big gap between UGA-ALA and the other teams on our schedule.
And if you are including the playoffs, then I dont know that I agree with that either. It's feasible that a team loses in the regular season and wins the rematch. It's happened so often that there's a saying "its hard to beat the same team twice".
That said, we just need to TCB against the Hogs this weekend. They're a good team and will fight. If we go in there all uppity they'll sweep a leg and we'll go back to Knoxville whipped.

UGA isn’t losing to tenner in Sanford.
Oct has been tenners peak month of delusion this decade. Nothing has changed. There is no miraculous deep defense this year compared to last. They’ve played 4 teams with offensive down syndrome compared to what is coming their way the next month.
This is the peak delusion this year. They claim this magical new defense (btw Willy Martinez is still coaching DBs
) is why those 4 teams are so terrible. It’s what the YouTube click bait analyzer mafia has zeroed in on. It’s paying the bills best, so feed it MOARRR
‘Tennessee has a ‘shot’ at the natty”. I mean they sop it up like biscuits and gravy and then repost it on every message board possible. Look I get it - all of their rivals and neighbors have been absolutely dominant with almost every Natty for 2 decades. They are so desperate not to be considered mid because all those natties* (2 AP consensus) they were told about from before segregation
Anyhow - November is when the chickens come to roost.
quite literally

This is so rich coming from a 1980 dawg. I guess it’s impossible to win a natty after a long drought? I’m sure you know the feeling.

So winning 3 natties - 2 of which were actual playoff not MNC (1998 Sternoer gift)
How about 71 years if it weren’t for Phattty sneaking in the back door for the luckiest of luck

Oh yeah let’s just erase one of our championships too. wHaT iF?
Yall didn’t even win the SEC y, you’re lucky you had a playoff. (Edit: JK this is false)
Billy Ratliff hit Brandon bulsworth so hard that he fell into Stoerner and made him drop the ball. Call it luck if you want

Who do you think you are?
UGA hasn't looked impressive so far in SEC play.
Kentucky almost beat you ffs. Ole Miss was big time overrated.
Portal teams will never beat teams who have been throwing more NIL at highschool recruits and actually have these kids buying in instead of relying on a full team of low character talented locker on diva types.
Also, Kiffin's reams ALWAYS lose one game that they shouldn't. You will never convince me in a million years that Kentucky is as good as UGA and Ole Miss made them look.
IMO it's been proven already that Kirby caught lightning in a bottle with three special guys to lead their mini NFL squads, Stetson, Bowers and Mchonkey.
Some times you luck out and find these special leader type of guys who will their teams to wins and/or clutch plays when you need it the most.
UGA had THREE of these types on the same offense one of them being arguably the best college tightend of all time.
You had your time UGA.
Bowl cuts can recruit and might snag some more of those types in the future to lead your army of 5 stars but I'm looking at this current UGA team and they don't frighten me at all.
Bama went up 28 to zip so quickly that it looked like they were playing LSU'S defense or something.

Kirby has played in 3 CFP championship games in 8 years. Was Bowers special? Absolutely. Players like that elevate true contenders (obviously UGa since Kirby) to Championship teams.
You don’t truly pay attention to recruiting. That is what ultimately wins playoff championships. Elite depth. Kirby was second to Saban in this regard and no one else. Records indicate facts. The facts also show the recruiting has never slipped or shown decline. Top 3 every year.
I’m not a Disney by any means. But you seem to be stuck at Epcot in denial.
All good

The Tenner alters here were so confident that Bama would lose to Georgia and then even more confident they would beat Georgia. They really were expecting a crown when they came to realize we're only 1/3 of the way through the season. Lot of shite can happen and even good teams like Tennessee can lose 3-4 games before it's all over.
Tennessee better for sure.
But so is Alabama, Georgia and Texas.
Hopefully, Chumlee is preaching to his players they have a long way to go and some very good teams to get through. In fact, I'm sure he is.

You have no clue what he's feeling though. His last one was in 1980 (1980!) before UGAY's recent resurgence.
I can't imagine going that long. What a bunch of losers.

Posts like these are so dumb lmao. Either you’re completely making this up in your head or you put entirely too much stock in what WhiskeyRiverDick and Jug from the internet say.
99% of Tennessee fans are always expecting a dick punch right around the corner when things are going well

I won 80 bucks on it hahaha. Everyone new UGA couldn't hang with them, and everyone was right.
Bought a nice high end bottle of scotch.
Thanks, gumps!

I mean I’ve spent the money by now (and that wasn’t my point) but I did bet that Bama would win.
