Don't think anyone knows really yet. Some are saying he is homesick, which your first fall/winter in Ohio anyone can understand. It is overcast 200 days straight in Ohio I feel like
I'm not sure the thinking by Ewers at all outside of his NIL deal which I think was $1.4 million for 3 years? That's not bad living for an 18 year old. Stroud and McCord are both legit 5* guys who are only 1-2 years older than him.
If he didn't want to compete at OSU he could have easily gone to 100 other schools with better depth charts. I don't know if there's a more crowded depth chart at QB in the country with Stroud/McCord/Miller who are all underclassmen with Ewers
