Our defense is no where near as shitty as A&M's defense. Aggie fans swore this year's defense is more talented than last year's defense. Compared to A&M , lsu has a nfl defense.

I wasn't expecting world beaters due to the attrition, but I wasn't expecting what we have right now either.
Our D is fricked up right now, particularly at LB position.

The guys we have aren't as talented as the guys we lost, imo. If they were, we would be fine. But that doesn't appear to be the case.

Well of course. There is no way to know till season starts. Over past few years there was every reason to think these guys would keep on clicking. The UGA game showed this wasn't the case but with all the new guys Chavis was going to keep moving guys to get the best lineup. Now halfway through, this is what we have. Not an elite D (no one thought this), not a great D (this we hoped/expected), but a rather average D.
