None would have been high picks, so this is a stupid point. Kirby got the best out of them.

Fair question....UGA football was a hot mess when Richt was hired and dude did an incredible job of righting the ship. Smart inherited a program that in far better shape than Richt did so time will tell.
Wrong.

Does anyone have the old Richt/Helen Hunt face meld?

Richt still had more players drafted in his 1st year the Kirby had in his 1st two years

Richt was a better coach than Derpy.

Incorrect. Donnan left a seriously talented football team for Richt to take over.

There were three that stayed that would have been drafted, so that would have made four.
Four draftees is a very bad class at a major SEC program if you intend to be competitive.
ETA: Richt may still be the coach at UGA if he hadn’t fricked up the 2012/2013 roster transition so completely. The roster deteriorated in that period.
It really started before that but the 2012 upperclassman group was so good that it masked horrible depth.

He did but the program was a dumpster fire. The whole Quincy Carter debacle was still around....we dodged a serious bullet getting Donnan out of Athens...I will always think that. Something just was not right at UGA at the time...Richt corrected that and did so while he also got the program to a level Donnan was not capable of doing.

Dumpster fire? I suppose there was some disciplary issues but it's not like we didn't have those issues under Richt.

Our recruiting classes from '10 to '13 produced less draft picks than Bama,UF,AU,OM,LSU and Arky.We were tied with Missouri (13)

Are you in high school? Middle school?
Do you not understand the point?

And Kirby did the same.
