, Latarian. No one's brought up the fact that our OL is playing lights out right now. Not taking anything away from JFF (kid's a freak), but the line would make most QBs look good. kinda reminds me of the Major Applewhite/Vince Young days at UTex. Those horn OLines made their QBs look like world-beaters.
(I know, stop talking about UTex. But for the next few years, anyway, they're a big part of my recent frame of reference)

I pray to the football gods that Jerrah takes Tyler Wilson to backup/replace Toyt Homo. The Gals willl need to trade up to get him, cuz he is going top 5.

yeah your line is very impressive. it's as good as ours is bad. While not nearly as bad ours wasn't that great last year either and it's a miracle Wilson survived the season. Not sure how much SEC football you watched but he got the absolute dogshit beaten out of him but never missed a game.

It's not JFF's fault your boy couldn't crack the starting lineup before last year.
But fine, last year Wilson had 3,638 yards passing. 24 TD, 6 int. 8.31 YPA and a rating of 148.4.
Manziel this year is in pace for 4376 yards passing. 40 TD, 0 int. 8.82 YPA and a rating of 170.9. He is also on pace for 1,464 yards rushing and 24 TDs.
He's on pace for 64 TDs with no turnovers and 5,840 total yards of offense. That's an unattainable pace. He's been that lights out. As a freshman.
How's that for ignoring last years numbers?

I have no dog in this fight bc I can recognize the OP was clearly meant to troll you arkies but this is fairly silly.
Of course we've only played one real defense but for those of us watching, JFF has been a more complete QB every week. His reads and throws this week vs you guys were light years ahead of the ones he made vs SMU two weeks ago. And yes, both defenses suck but that's the point. He's a freshman and he's improving rather rapidly.
Anyway, using his first game in college as proof that "he didn't do shite" is as silly as the OP.

No, Sumlin won't do better in year one than BMFP did in year 3. He will do better in year 3 though when JFF is a Jr

TAMU runs that high powered Offense that puts up blistering numbers on teams inferior to them. It will be pretty much shutdown by the top Defenses in the League.

Only Big Kat would try to argue that a guy which has played 4 games total is better than a 1st team all-SEC QB. Homerism at its finest.
