When we recruited him it was assumed that he would take a while to learn his new position. His recruiting ranking was based on his potential, not how good was he at the time.

So let me get this straight.

A redshirt senior with 30 career tackles goes down and a guy who's never played linebacker before and doesnt know how to play the position (according to you) is the best option at the most important position in Saban's defense?
