Is it harder to bench a college quarterback than an NFL quarterback? If so, why?

James Franklin and his offensive coordinator did a remarkable job designing a game plan that worked around their quarterback's limitations. However, Drew Allar appears to be significantly limited—zero completions to any wide receivers is telling. If I were Franklin, I'd be exploring every avenue to bring in a better quarterback. Unfortunately, that’s unlikely to happen since Allar is firmly entrenched as the starter until he moves on. A similar situation unfolded at Alabama with Jalen Milroe.

So, is it tougher to bench a college quarterback than an NFL quarterback?

They did a good job of propping up a mongoloid kid playing qb.

I disagree. It's sort of the college culture I believe.
