As Tennessee fans we can't say a word. With our money and resources? To field the product they have fielded for the past 15 years.
Simply because they wanted to hire coaches on the cheap and let people like Jimmy Haslam have too much control.
Nick Saban was available back then when he was at MSU. I guess you could have done a much better job finding the right HC. Good luck to finding the next one after this recently hired.

A UT hillbilly showing his green eyed envy and incredible jealousy of Georgia. Way too funny! Georgia has owned the Vols for longer than most posters on this site can even remember. If UGA is an underachiever then what does that make UT? Road kill?
Maybe the Vols should focus on the dumpster fire that is their program, load up on the mustard bottles and get ready for another beat down at the hands of the national champions. Since Richt arrived at UGA, the Dawgs have averaged over 10 wins a year and that number is getting higher every year thanks to Kirby. UT isn’t much of a concern to Georgia anymore. Only a little more concerning than GT and then only because they are in the SEC. These Vols are dumber than dirt.

Next they forfeit a road game every other year to the Swamp, where every other SEC team has to play when their time comes. I think this is dog shite. Playing Florida in the Swamp as opposed to in Jacksonville is a big win for Georgia as the Swamp is much tougher than a split crowd in Jacksonville.
An outsider also realizing playing in Jax. needs to end.

Bring the Cocktail party to Athens when UGA is the home team and let UF play where ever they want when it’s their year . Jax has gotten to be way too much of a hassle. It’s not fan friendly anymore and that game being in Athens would give UGA another home game, a great recruiting day and even more money for Athens

HELL NO!
Athens/Gainesville (like ALL OTHER SEC teams)
or
Atlanta/Jax. (both 1 hr. from each school & an NFL stadium)

We're a lesser program than Georgia, despite history saying otherwise? Besides head to head, Tennessee is superior. We've endured the worst decade of our history. The pendulum will swing the other way now that we have a real AD and coach.
I wouldn’t say Tenn is a lesser program historically than GA, but they aren’t greater.
GA leads the series…and it’s a 50 game series.
GA trails TN by 3 all time wins which should be rectified this year.
GA has the same number of SECC (13)
GA has 7 recognized National championships and claims the three consensus. Tennessee has 6 recognized NC’s and claims 6 and sometimes the 2 consensus.
Georgia has more bowl wins, bowl appearances, and Heisman winners.
Is UGA underachieving, yes. The most, underachieving, not even close. It seems more bc of the near misses since 1980. 81, 82, 83, 92, 02, 05, 07, 12, 17, and 18 were all teams that were close. Some real close. Also, Georgia’s bridesmaid stigma is made worse by the fact that they so rarely really suck. Like 5 losing seasons since 1959. They are the team that’s always “pretty good”.
As has been stated here already the demographics of GA have changed a lot even though the passion was always there. The population is now 11+ Million and the coaching and resources at the HS level have really escalated. Georgia has always had a lot of athletes. But now those athletes are on training regiments in the 6th grade.
UGA is largely going to get the players they want in GA. They can’t and won’t get all of them bc there are so many. The factors that needed to come together for UGA to stay in the top 5 have happened. Good coach, good recruiting, commitment to win from the administration.
And to whoever said UT has more resources than UGA…no.
GA has more people, more athletes, better quality HS football. A higher median household income and More corporations, ergo more corporate income.
We have quiet billionaires and 9 figure net worth boosters. They are not a vocal bunch.

Cool, how many of the players on those teams went on to be college all Americans or play in the pros?
How many players from UGA went on to have great NFL careers that didn't have championships at UGA?
If UGA wasn't underachieving, why did it have to fire three straight coaches?
VHS has put 11 players into the NFL that I know of. I don't know how many went on to be All Americans. I also don't know the numbers for the other schools.

The last coach Georgia fired was an incredible human being who was averaging over 10 wins a year. Georgia has very high standards
