Bama/Saban is smothering them much like what USA/Reagan was doing to Russia in the 80's

The following sports are currently dominating at Bama...
Women's gymnastics
Women's softball
Men's and women's golf

Basketball is on the rise again too. Avery will make a winner there.

They(auburn)have had a head start on baseball facilities for the past 15 years, yet they have always been mediocre. Bama is about to open one of the best stadiums in the conference and we should be back to fielding some good teams.

Money being poured into football and the facilities borne out of that has created an advantage to the rest of the athletic department, which is very profitable.

OP isn't concerned about just football (luckily for him) so he's got some other sports to hang his hat on.

He's not going to believe me if I tell him that. He knows UF had a better season this year. That would be disingenuous and certainly no way to treat a friend.

When was the last time Florida beat Auburn in football?

Out of the sports you listed Auburn is arguably better at half of them. Men's golf is ranked #1 and softball will probably best Bama again this year. Plus we've already seen Avery vs Bruce once this year and we are missing 60% of our starters. And baseball... you guys refuse to fire the worst coach in the SEC.

I believe AU was recently #1 in men's golf this year.
Not sure how they currently are doing.

You think that's going to make him feel better? That seems like something a Bama fan would say.

This guy is a true "Auburn Man". He's not going to want to talk about UF. I need positive things related to Auburn sports this year.

He hates the Panthers but loves Cam of course. I can't even use the Panthers to cheer him up.

So you think I can tell him that Aubie men's golf was good last year and that will work to cheer him up? I'll try it.

You bammers are so delusional. Bammer had never won a national championship in any sport outside of football and women's gymnastics up until 2 or 3 years ago.

You are not dominating in sports like golf. You had one or two fluke years. Your baseball program is so much on the rise that you missed the NCAA tournament last year and haven't made it to the college World Series since the 20th century

You're really hurting your argument. You are saying Auburn isn't good at anything yet when we give examples that refute your claim you discredit them as insignificant sports. As a UF fan you have been living off insignificant sports for quite some time. Kudos though, as you keep sucking me in despite the fact that I'm aware this is a blatant troll.

You guys are right. Auburn sucks at all the sports he cares about right now.

I'm just going to buy him a gift card to Starbucks and try to avoid sports talk altogether.

Good talk.

You have seen one game of Avery v pearl. Pearl lost two to GRANT last year. We are hit hard with injuries too.

Both are recruiting very well. Next year will be big for us .
