Your question to the previous poster showed that you seem think it is an unreasonable opinion that Alabama's offense is as good as LSU's. That indicates you think there is at least a noticeable objective separation. I'm not sure that's the case. Alabama scores slightly more points a game overall while LSU gains slightly more yards overall.

There is a noticeable diff.
Lsu has the qb with the higher qb rating, two wr in the top 4 in tds , yards and rec, and 3 rbs in the top 15 in tds.
I also don't agree that bama has the better wr corp. Lsu rarely has to go beyond its second read. If bama had a healthy Cooper then yeah I could see that but with out him I don't know that Bama's wr depth is better. It could be but lsu will have two 1000 yards receivers. Not that Bama's offense is bad by any means.

I do think Bama's rb depth is a good bit better than lsu's. I really like Drake and think he will be all sec before he leaves. He'll fix the ball security issues.

Bama's offense scores more points on average than LSU's offense. The objective of offense is to score points. Bama O > LSU O.

Yards means you're moving the ball. Lsu is #1 In the sec in 3rd down conversion. We aren't like A&M that uses broken plays. We will run the ball against bama.

You are cherry-picking stats a bit here to make your case, which I did to some extent as well. You didn't address the big picture stats or the offensive production against the one common opponent stat which both suggest that if anything the offenses are pretty much dead even.

This question is pretty much impossible to answer if the two teams remain as statistically close as they are right now when the common opponents start kicking in. We'll see I guess.

Well are one common opponent Mett had his worst game of the year with 3 ints. Other than that game he has been great this year. Even the ole miss game he has a good bit of yards, he was just off on his deep ball.
This games is gonna come down to lsu's defense any way. Bama's defense is gonna make some stops. So lsu's defense will have to make some stops. I think we can early on but with as young as our defense is , the difference between our 1's and 2's is far bigger than Bama's( that is what made our games so close, both team had exceptional depth and there wasn't A big drop off in play between 1's and 2'a)

So glad all those juniors went to the NFL. How many were from the defense that could have come back?

enough to beat, possibly, the greatest player in CFB history.

Youre right, it took your entire team to beat 1 player.

So if we're now slobbering over Bama's offense prowess. Truth be told, Bamas numbers were put up against the last three teams in the conference in total defense (Kentucky, AM, and Tenn) and none of the top 5 offenses.

Admitting that bama has talent on the offense( goes without saying) isn't slobbering. It's called being unbiased.

I'll say Bama's offense is as good as LSU's, I'll even say it's better. Bookmark it, and we can revist after next week and at the end of the season. I'll gladly admit I was wrong if that is the case.

Its all about LSU OL. If they hold. Tight game. If they lose the surge Bama by 10-17.

Wild card as we all know TOs and special teams.

He'll claim that he thought they were gonna lose, got over it before the game was over, etc. LSU fans have perfected the excuse game.
