LSU plays Bama, Miss. State, South Carolina, aTm, and Mizzou twice.
Bama plays LSU, Miss State, Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia twice.
Alabama plays Georgia twice
LSU plays South Carolina twice
Advantage LSU (even though SC won the first game)
LSU plays A&M twice
Alabama plays Tennessee twice
Advantage LSU
Alabama plays Auburn twice (even though they LOST one)
LSU plays Missouri twice (won the first one)
Advantage Alabama
Looks like that schedule is in LSU's favor.

I am pretty sure one of the Arkansas SEC west champions in football is the worst #2 ever.......

Bama is not a bad team when they show up, they have some good players Trevor Releford the Brother of Current Kansas Jayhawk Star Travis Releford is one of the better guards in the conf. Bama prob is not the second best team in the conf but they have some good peaces

I'm not the biggest fan of basketball but I know a bad team when I see one. If we're #2 I hate to see what the rest of the league looks like.
Bama doesn't have bad players or a bad team. They struggle because they have minimal at best inside presence. If Bama had a Richard Hendrix, Chuck Davis, Erwin Dudley this team would be in first place right now.

What Alabama really needs is a Robert Horry, Rod Grizzard, or Kennedy Winston.

Horry id take but id rather have a big strong 4 or 5 instead of Grizzard or Winston.

Go ahead and try to spin a scheduling conspiracy against LSU again.
I never said it was easier than LSU's...

It's really cute how defensive they all get, though

no, it happens every year. one good UK team and rest of the league is shitty. except this year UF and UK switched places.
college basketball is for ACC and Big East fans. SEC fans don't GAS about basketball

They can't admit they have a decent team and have had an easy schedule. LSU has had an easy schedule, but everyone knew this team was a cellar dweller.

Gueye got rejected on two different occasions last night on what should have been easy dunks for baskets. Instead, not only did he not jump and dunk, I'm not even sure his heels left the floor. He's completely inept on the offensive end.
I honestly think they would be in first right now if Engstrom hadn't gotten hurt. It isn't saying much, but he's at least twice the offensive threat as Gueye and that would have been enough to beat Tennessee, Auburn, Mercer, and Tulane.
With a real inside force, this team is possibly undefeated (at worst, 1 loss) in league play and has a national top 15 ranking.
And yes, the schedule has helped.

Bama has won 10 of their last 12. Not bad.

Its good to see the LSU whine in before the fifth post. No one likes a slacker - keep up the good work

I don't think it was whining more than stating why Bama is in second place. In reality the entire league blows...it was a Bama fan that started this thread in the first place.
It was funnier seeing how defensive Bama fans got to try to "dispute it" by comparing they schedule to Bama's when the post made no mention of LSU
