1. Welcome to the SEC and the board.

2. Nicely put together video, someone did a good job.

3. Tearing down goal posts and rushing the field is not acceptable for an SEC school.

I think Mizzou has a ton of potential to become a powerful program. I just don't think that will happen. A state that only has one school with major conference athletics, with that school located between two large cities, should have a strong fanbase and the ability to recruit your state's top talent.

Instead you have 61k show up for a game against Texas in your tiny run down football stadium and your basketball players on twitter complaining about all the empty seats in your arena.

Well, welcome to the best conference in college football

Mizzou might surprise some of us (not doubting that), but don't expect to be the "big dog" for a while.

Make sure you win your bowl game (if you go to one next year). After you win, make sure your fans chant "SEC".

Doesn't count, Arkansas has a long history of choking in big bowl games and embarassing the conference.

That's true. Nothing else needs to be said.

I should add that your basketball arena is very nice though. Definitely a top level arena in this conference. Your fanbase just needs to fill the seats.

This is something I completely agree with.

This thread is weird. It's like watching the slow kids fight.

Unfortunately, this is something that I completely disagree with. I think that after we tear down the goal posts, we should then take an effigy of the opposing coach and ceremoniously burn it at mid field, while the entire student section dances around the fire in a drunken and slightly satanic haze.

I mean, we're from Missouri people. We're viewed as the "outpost" of the SEC. Wild country. Why should we act any different than the wild people that we are?

Welcome to the SEC and thanks for the video.

Our recently hired CIO is a "Mizzou" alumni (from Independence, MO) and is stoked about joining the SEC. The guy won't let me leave his office because all he wants to do is talk SEC sports and what Mizzou will bring to the table.

I've always been fascinated with your state's history. While this country was almost torn apart with the war between the states, an almost separate war was taking place along the Missouri/Kansas borders. A war to this day that still affects the relationship between you and Kansas. But I digress . . .

Again, welcome and while TD might seem overwhelmed with a lot of Dilberts, there are also a lot of smart LSU and SEC fans that bring both clever and colorful insights to this blog.

Okay...okay. You're right. We'll tear down the goal post in an orderly fashion, burn an effigy at midfield, and when we dance around the fire, we'll do it while wearing button-up shirts and ties and maybe (just maybe) we'll be sober.

The SEC cracked down on storming the field or storming the court a few years ago. Added fines and such.

Please change your mascot before coming to the SEC. Two Tiger teams are more than enough.

Mizzou will be fine.

Saying Mizzou will win the SEC next year is just as outrageous as some of you saying Mizzou will be a doormat next year.

This board is very entertaining though.

I expect Mizzou to be a solid 10th to 12th place team next season.

Mizzou will never win the SEC so there is no point in discussing.

KILO!!! I thought I'd never hear from you again! Yes, this board has been entertaining, but I just started reading the board where Mizzou Tiger stated that he was college educated.

I thought I was saying some crazy shite last night...but nothing like that guy.
