Veazey used to be State's beat writer for the Clarion Ledger and the frickstick did nothing in Starkville but try to dig up dirt on STate. Then he transferrd to OM to do the same thing. Then he left MS and got hired by the CA in TN. He is douchebag investigtive reporter wannabe who is trying his damnedest to pull a Pulitzer out of all this. I said weeks ago when he became involved that he will stop at nothing to stirr shite and get a story going.
ETA: He is also an OM grad and really hates football in general. He would be happy if basketball season lasted all year. He confessed that much to me when I ran into him at a State function one time.

Obviously he has an agenda, like every journalist. But that doesn't mean he's making this shite up. (Though I wouldn't rule that out either) His first story came out and that afternoon Auburn pulled Jovon Robinson off the practice field. Just sayin.

I know that beat writers shouldn't be focused on bringing detrement to the program they cover. That's generally not what the editor has in mind. He wants the person to cover the sport they are supposed to cover and ensure the paper keeps their subscribers who subscribe to read articles on their teams. No other team in the SEC has the dumb luck of rolling with Veasey and Marshmallow.
I also understand that today's liberal media is disconnected with what the average Joe wants to hear. Veasey knows print media is dead so he likes the sensational stories that get websites hits. I guess that makes him a "good" reporter in the mold of Jerry Springer.

You again make it sound like he's making this shite up. There is a story here. It has nothing to do with the death of print media or the liberal media. (lol) The NCAA has been all over that town for months apparently, and you think the news should just ignore it? The "average Joe" loves that kind of story; you just can't see that now because your team is taking the fall this time.
