Now everyone understands why Alabama fans got so mad about Means. It wasn't that we weren't cheating, it's that Tennessee cheats and then tries to set everyone else up.

And the NCAA knew other schools were bidding on him, yet no investigations into those schools. Hell, federal testimony provided proof some schools paid, yet no investigations. Bama was the victim of a singular witch hunt. Having said that. Doubt we're going for a 3rd NC in 4 yrs if that hadn't happened back then, so I reckon I'm groovy with it.

MS State doesn't have the luxury of being nationally known team. Any probation for us would be exponentially worse than it would be for Bama or AU. It would take us a long time to get back to where we are now. Hell. Look at how long it took us to get to last Saturday. Our bottom is way further down than yalls

And had it coming. Dubose was a figure-head coach to allow boosters to buy players like Alabama was their personal minor league team.
Similar model is in place at auburn.
