He was pointing out that you are a lot more invested in this than you are leading on.
I read and participate in this board as a means of entertainment. It's nothing more. The current Aggy fall is entertainment. Just like last year when LSU was getting trolled for the shitty QB play and getting shut out by Arkansas and getting run out of the stadium by Auburn. I didn't cry about people giving us shite. That's just the way it goes.

Fair enough man, I was just explaining what I thought was going on.
Regardless, you have nothing to cry about this year and we aggys have unlimited reasons.

Obviously your problem is you're trying too hard to be somebody you're not.
What do you mean? How can a non-champion who is trying to be a champion NOT try to be a champion. You make no sense. What's the alternative?

You've always done that.
Done what?

You mean, by improving facilities? That's not buying anything but better facilities. So, we should NOT improve our facilities?

and selling your souls to make it happen
What the frick does this mean? How have we sold our souls? Are you implying that we cheat, because, big red motors and shite.
If not, what do you really mean?

Not even gonna dignify the overload of hypocrisy in this shite with a response.

Trying to buy a program out of nothing with slick marketing campaigns and shiny objects.
What should we do? Nothing? Tell me, sooner. How do we overcome 100 years of multiple built-in disadvantages to nearly every other program within 500 miles? What should we do? Not expand our stadium and upgrade our facilities? Continue to act like we are still a small, all-male, compulsory military collage? No. No. No. I was off base there. A&M has always been equal to all other programs and institutions in that 500-mile radius. You convinced me.
We should have just left everything the way it used to be, when Oklahoma didn't have to fight like a junkyard dog to bring in Texas talent.

This is what he wants and could have just said that from the beginning.

FYI, I think A&M is far too big of a program for Sumlin. He still doesn't understand what it takes to sustain a program in the SEC and he has more resources than any other school in the conference.

I think the fact he never even won the conference at Houston tells me head coaching in general might be too big for him.
We are staring mediocrity dead in the face for as long as he is here.
We could have had one of the best 5 players in the country every year he was here and not sniffed a conference championship.

throw the kid against the two best defenses in the SECW, and when he can't beat them on his own - time to open it up?
I don't think the kid is the world beater he was being made out to be originally, but seriously - come ON. Alabama and Ole Miss have made a habit of making previously stellar looking QBs into has been's.
You haven't watched OMs defense this year have you?

LSU had a similar problem with Josh Booty and Rohan Davey, and yes there was a racial element to the problem. Many players quit playing hard when Booty was in the game, and then they went beast mode when Davey played. Booty solved the problem by entering the NFL draft. That solution isn't available for A&M. Someone is going to have to transfer, or they will need to make changes to the coaching staff to resolve the problem.

I'm saying I've seen your marketing slicks and recruiting tools you use. Do you think the kids that go there under Sumlin do so because they really want to be Aggies? Or because you lured them with a bunch of flashy bullshite and false promises? "Yessir!" "Swagcopter" "The house that Johnny built!" "SEC-SEC-SEC" "Have you seen our stadium?"
It's like a rich guy who throws money and gifts around at women, and then complains because all he attracts are self-interested gold diggers.
If you're using Manziel's time there as a recruiting tool for QBs, why would you be surprised that you attract low-character douchebag pre-madonnas (like Manziel) who cuss out their coach on the sideline during a game?
