My point is I'm not too concerned about Kelly losing to 2020 Bama or 2018 Clemson.

Is it better to beat better teams and consistently choke vs bad ones or not be able to beat better teams?

Look. Kelly was in year 3 at LSU. DeBoer was in his first year at Alabama. Give DeBoer two more years then you can judge him. Just like Kelly being judge in his 3rd year. It is that simple. Even Kelly said judge me in year 3. What matters is the W-L record. He went 8-4.
