Nick Saban exposed LSU football for what it really is: an elite powerhouse that should be a national and conference competitor every single year. It has absolutely everything you need to win at the highest level. Miles has been the master of consistency much like Richt at UGA. Now it is just a question of whether you expect him to actually win titles or just be in the discussion for them.

The argument could be made that Arnsparger was a better coach than Saban. Same overall winning percentage a Saban. Only 3 SEC losses and 2 Sugar Bowls in his 3 seasons in Baton Rouge.
