Inspired by my comment off another thread. What coach in the SEC would you love to have...

a beer with? We have some personalities in this conference. If you couldn’t pick your own coach, who would you love to have a beer with?
I’m going with “O”. Guy is down to earth and a true mans man. Damn that would be great.

Coach O in a landslide.....but being Johnny Freshwater's wing man could be interesting.
If I could break my beer bottle over his head, Merlins

Probably Leach. The conversation alone would be worth it.

Kiffin seems like he'd be a great wing man

As I posted on another thread that had nothing to do with this, “O” to me because there is nothing artificial about him. What you see is what you get and he pulls no punches. I got to meet him for a brief period once and he obviously knew I was an MSU fan and he was so cool and took a minute to ask me when I graduated and what I was doing in life etc.

Orgeron might be entertaining, but after an hour I'd want to kill myself. The cajun accent is second, after a Boston accent, for it's similarity of effect to nails on a chalkboard when I hear it.

Can we choose old coaches, because I’d love to have a beer with Steve Spurrier. But for today’s SEC coaches, I probably wouldn’t pass up a beer with Mike Leach relatively to all the other SEC coaches.

No, this is current coaches. But I agree, if we were including old coaches then Spurrier would be right up there!

Dan Mullen, I want to know if he's really sharing his wife or she's just goofy

No doubt about it! The GOAT! How many chances would you have to hang out with a legend? Plus I would love to pick Saban's brain about this and that.

You’re thinking “yat”, dawg. Not Cajun. And yes yat is disgusting but not that many people actually use it.
Coach O is a treasure and you should be careful bad mouthing him, especially with Trump about to make your opinion illegal

Sly Croom. An offensive guru and a damn nice man.

Remember when he insisted on installing the "Wess Coast" offense?

Both of the coaches in Mississippi are 1a and 1b with O right behind them. I will say in other sports, me and Ron Polk would drink the bar dry talking baseball.

Yes we see the sarcasm but I’d prefer to eat lunch with Croom. He’s not the beer type and that’s fine but he’s a good man.

I think you’d end up being his wing man

Indeed
Our recruiting class to date is nothing to speak of and unfortunately I think there is a reason
