ISU didn’t even put in a bid for Super Regionals, so TCU is hosting.

i looked up their stadium capacity and was amazed at first that it was 12,000, but that was the football stadium

That's not completely accurate.
Indiana State wasn't able to host due to NCAA rules about number of hotel rooms that must be available within a certain distance of the host site.
There is another event occurring in the area that has taken most of the hotel rooms, thus the need to move the Super to TCU.

The Indiana Special Olympics are being held on ISU's campus. They had a hard time not only with hotel rooms, but staffing.

It's bc the city is hosting the Special Olympics at the same time and had concerns over hotels and other facilities being overwhelmed. It really sucks for the players.
