Think about it, which reporter has a better bar room story twenty years up the road, the ones that heard say Mantle with a yearly 'Red Sox gonna be tough to beat this year yada yada yada' interview, or one that gets a 'how would I know? I ain't no c@cksucker!' story.

Fake. The signature is written really hard and is consistently dark throughout the name. The above portion is written with different pressure and maybe even a different sharpie.
