Yeah these amendments are going to make the bill fail. As much as everyone wants Congress to fix college sports, unfortunately we still need the NCAA to fix their issues and they have to stop losing in court.
I'm all for federal legislation but this bill is fricking arse.

No one wants government to "fix" college sports. If they were competent at anything they would be working in the private sector.

Well then we all need to stop complaining about eligibility rules and NIL compensation. The NCAA is a joke and it will forever remain that way.

Just shows the hypocrisy of this all.
They proposed an amendment to control the cost of these coaches but that failed. The coast of these coaches are just as insane if not more than the cost of these players but they're protecting who they feel is their own.
