Was it fair when TN kept beating Ala.?

There are 4 (maybe 6) teams who want to KEEP them.
There is NO ROTATION that allows some to stay & others go.
Also, they WON'T be played as non-conf..

How? Every other year would cause you to now have only 3 or 4 H games at your stadium.

1 problem - SEC WILL NOT put teams from the SAME state in DIFFERENT divisions.
So, Tn./ Vandy, Miss./MSU, & Ala./Aub. are paired.

Son.
When you start POSTING things in ALL CAPS... most of us think of you as a TOOL.
Slow your roll boy. You may, or may not, have interesting points but we take one look at your post and think you have brain damage.

But this hurts YOU as well as UGA, UF, & Ky. by having ONLY 1 slot to schedule whomever.

Why yes it WOULD end NOT having DSOR & TSIO as ANNUAL SEC Conf. games.

My wild guess is that Tennessee, Auburn, South Carolina, and Arky would like to end the cross division play...because they are getting hammered.
Posted on 8/16/19 at 6:33 pm to 3rddownonthe8
But how would you schedule that? The 4 in-state ACC rivalries would have to be hosted every other year just to give a MINIMUM of 5 H games. & don't forget, they also have to work ND into their schedules.

You're giving LSU the West basically every year with that setup!

Interesting statements from Joe Alleva...I guess if nothing has changed and schools will keep voting for their own self interest vs the benefit of the conference :ie playing forced rivalry games, keeping permanent opponent that is perceived as being weaker for easy win, etc...then maybe nothing will change.
I assure you he was pushing his own interests. He’s scared playing Florida every year

That is no different than going division-less.
No thank you!

Gee...I wonder why when you pretty much get to the SECCG each year.

"Bingo...four schools are tying up the other ten with their stubborness. UA/UT and AU/UGA can deal with having an occasional off year playing each other. Id like to see Arkansas and Ole Miss more than once every six years. They can get the frick over waiting a year."
& we can keep playing this SEC CONF. GAME YEARLY.

"It makes frick-all sense to end the DSOR or TSIO in order to play Arkansas or Miss St one year earlier in rotation for SEC East teams, or Vandy, UK, Mizzou or whoever for West teams."
A Dawg fan AGAINST DSOR???

Because those of us with historic rivalries want to keep them as YEARLY CONF. GAMES!
Posted on 8/16/19 at 7:29 pm to USCrown
Honestly, I'd rather move to rotating every year and schedule TSIO as a "non-conference" game. We're the only team in the East that has to play Alabama every year and since right now it counts as a conference game it puts us at a severe disadvantage in division play.

But there us NO MODEL that works keeping some c-d games & trashing the rest.
Those keeping them will full rotate through the other side in 12 years. Those without full rotate in 7.
withOUT c-d/with c-d
1 full rotation: 7/12
2 full rotations: 14/24
3 full rotations: 21/36
4 full rotations: 28/48
5 full rotations: 35/60
6 full rotations: 42/72
7 full rotations: 49/84
8 full rotations: 56/96
9 full rotations: 63/108
10 full rotations: 70/120
& you think what we have now is bad???
