It seems like it was so long ago that Cal was driving with the chance to tie it up at 24.

They just ran out of steam. Had to know it was going to happen with 1/3 of their roster out.

And that hit.

Nobody just wants to admit that Oregon is pretty damn good. I see them play every week. They are pretty damn good.

They are good, but they aren't "60 points every game" good.

I think most would agree they're fantastic offensively, but you have to at least acknowledge the same things were being said before they were beat by Auburn and even Ohio State before that.

Well, they average 54.3 a game this year and 66 over the last 2 years, so maybe they are that good. Perhaps they would not fare as well against SEC. Probably only 42 points a game.

Belle that was in other years not named 2012.

True. But it's the same thing we've heard this year. I tend to believe until proven otherwise that the result could be same.

They seem to get better with every new QB. They were supposed to fall off after Masoli. Nope. They were supposed to fall off after Thomas. Nope. Now they look better than ever under Mariotta.

I would love to see what Kelly could do in the SEC in an actual decent recruiting territory.

I think that's obvious.

When's the last time Oregon scored 42 points on an SEC team?

They are much better than the team that played Auburn a few years ago in the NCG. I have watched parts of every one of their games and they aren't a complete team, but good enough in certain parts of it to win it all this year, possibly.

Oregon has been without their stud DE, Dion Jordan. We are garbage when he's not in there because of our youth and inexperience. Our first string and second string safeties are out for the season with injuries. We are a very, very young team, most of our guys are freshmen and sophomores. Jordan and possibly Patterson will be back for our bowl game.

I agree. Bama would have gotten rolled, but I was arguing against the assertion that Oregon would go undefeated in the SEC this year.

As many very good teams have shown through the years, it's extremely hard to go undefeated in the SEC.

Actually tonite it wasn't even Jordan. Our entire starting defensive line is hurt. Dion Jordan (shoulder), Isaac Remington (ankle), Ricky Heimuli (knee) all suited up, but did not play. Wade Keliikipi didn't make the trip. Taylor Hart got hurt in the first quarter and was out. We already lost our first string safety for the season, and tonite we lost our 2nd string safety (Patterson) for the season as well. We have been wracked with injuries the last two weeks.

Well....pretty damn good against WHO? The Pac man 12? Come on. Cal is slower than a 3 legged turtle and awful. Whenever Oregon actually plays a good team OOC they get their azz waxed. Im not gonna concede anything about them...the top five or six teams in the SEC would probably smoked them and their hot cheerleaders.
