I've driven through Paducah. One of the oddest drives I've been on is near that area. It's where you drive from Kentucky across the Ohio River into Cairo, Illinois. You stay in Illinois for 300 feet before you're back on a bridge crossing the Mississippi River into Missouri.

Anyone know what day the college bowl selection is? I've looked all over and can't find anything. I've heard December 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th.

It was on December 4th last season. I'd say it'd be that first Sunday of December.

My father is a fantastic cook and he makes incredibly outrageous holiday meals.
This year, he made wild and tame turkey (like usual), boiled shrimp, duck, and a "special pot pie" for grandpa.
Grandpa said prayer, the family sat down to eat, and then dad served the "special pot pie". No one noticed that he vanished after serving the pot pie.
It was excellent, but we all wondered what was in it.
A few minutes later, dad walked into the dining room carrying a HUGE live rabbit by the ears and thrust it out over the table.
"This is what you're eating, Dad," my father said to my grandfather. "A long time ago you told me that the best meal you've ever had was a rabbit pot pie. Well, I made this rabbit pot pie for you, Dad."
Grandpa said, "It's good, son, but I can't taste the rabbit. Also, please take that rabbit outside before you scare the children."
Dad walked out sort of defeated. Changed the entire atmosphere.
