The one in Oxford only had covers if it was a bigger act. They've got live music 7 days a week though.

BTW, Lafitte Blacksmith Shop=My favorite bar in NOLA. Fiancee and I had a blast at the piano bar part.

Just not my kind of music. I've had fun at some of their shows (thanks to tons of alcohol and possibly a little "relaxation aid") , but it's just not what I like personally. If you're into rap then they're probably pretty good.

It's a bit touristy, but the piano guy is awesome. Played half of the Wall.

Uptown NOLA is a lot more fun for college aged people than downtown unless you catch it on a good night.

If yall are in Auburn that Friday night I'll consider it depending on where you are. I'll be getting drunk and going somewhere regardless, as will all of my friends.

Food Network Nightly IM thread
Watched a DVR'd episode of Top Chef with the fiancee. She wanted to watch the next episode, and I said Nope, we're watching the 4th quarter of the Broncos-Steelers. She had to DWI, it was a great 4th quarter, and my balls are still intact.

I'll be honest, the one time I went to Supper Club, I don't remember. I think I had fun though.
