Anybody ever made a tile countertop, I got questions.
Shoot
It's the edging I'm wondering about.
I'm gonna have cultured stone come up to the countertop. It will be adhered to a plywood backing (wire mesh/felt) on the frame of the bar. Then do I just need my plywood countertop piece to lay over the top piece of the cultured stone, put the concrete board stuff on top of the plywood. then lay my vcap tiles over to cover the edge?

Double or triple your backer board at the front to give your v-caps some stabilty like this

I've done alot really for someone that isn't a carpenter. I refinished by whole basement. wood paneling, built walls, eletrical lights & outlets, drop ceiling, sink, shower, etc.
But I've never done any masonry or tile work. so this will be new for me.

Maybe the problem is that guys that are great in the sack are often dicks outside the bed - or wherever. And, conversely, guys may want a freak in bed, but think that's not the type they can take home to meet mama. So, young girls won't cut loose because they think it'll keep them from being marriage material. They don't understand yet that it's OK to express yourself however you like in private, but still expect to be respected and treated like a lady.

you need to estabish the plane where your title will come up to get the number in inches how far you need your counter to go out for the V-cap to feather in without a gap

So do you the think a 3/4 plywood, covered with 1/2 concrete board would do fine then? It'd only stick out 3~4 inches over the cultured stone before it would be supported by the 2X4 framing.
