There's an average of 40 murders a day in the U.S. There hasn't been less than 14000 murders a year since 1968.

You have to have the psychological pre-disposition to acting out. However, I do believe video games set people with that pre-disposition off
People with a psychological pre-disposition to do these kinds of things could be set off by just about anything. I have kids at work who are EBD (Emotional Behavior Disability) that could be set off by something as simple as another kid looking at them funny or by the structure in their day being off.
You have people openly advocating to ban certain video games. That would be like banning all alcohol sales because a handful of people with a psychological pre-disposition to violence killed somebody while drunk.

There is a correlation between videogames and violence.
It's a frequent occurrence upon having a pitch intercepted and run back for a TD on NCAA'13

Knee jerk reactions to this tragedy are the most unsurprising thing since Ricky Martin came out of the closet

Most of the time it's when my shots don't register online in halo. I use my controller as a whip.

I feel badly that this entire incident is going to be politicized by one side in an effort to further erode the Constitutional Rights of we Citizens - that's what I feel bad about.
I feel empathy for the parents and children affected, and disdain for the mad man that caused all of this - but it is all out of my control - as is just about everything outside of the walls in which I now reside at the moment.

Watching Joker coach this last season almost drove me to a rampage. Can we just ban him?

the left will politicize it to use it for gun control and the right is using it for prayer in school. both sides will never let a tragedy go to waste.
fwiw i wont be surprised if both sides pick a name of a kid to name whatever stupid bill they propose after one of the kids today.
