I'm about to pour a small glass of Aberlour single malt Scotch. My hopes are very high. It's also 120 proof, so it's going to be pretty stout.

Oh my God. This might be the best whiskey I've had. The flavor is indescribable, but extremely rich.

It's far smoother than I imagined. I decided to just drink it neat, and have to say any other way would have been a waste.

Most Scotch especially single malts are a straight drink since you don't wanna cloud the flavors they have amazing flavors on their own in most cases of a GOOD scotch

That's what my dad taught me, and why I did go with it neat. I still can't say I've ever had a better scotch. Which, to qualify that, I've had more different types than the average drinker, but am not anywhere near a connoisseur. Just a young guy that's had the luxury to drink some pretty fine spirits.
