Yeah, I feel the same way. But this is was probably his last day of classes before finals though, I believe - he may be out partying.
And that's what I told him last night - the rant isn't the place for airing family issues, that it's awkward to read about, and people don't believe him because most would never post that kind of personal stuff here.

I'd be cool if they did it a little more evenly, but I've been disgusted with ESPN since last year when they said Bama didn't deserve to be there and kicked LSU's arse. After that pretty much no one dropped a dime of praise.

It's the general problem with rankings, in my opinion. People see the number by a team's name or see a highlight and automatically assume that no one of a lesser number can beat them. Even though last year was a little different, it was easy for someone who watches and understands football to grasp how Bama literally gave the game away to LSU the first time last year, so the 21-0 blanking wasn't really a surprise. No one actually watches football games for their subtleties and nuances anymore, and it's annoying.
