Not making a very strong case...
Did he kill puppies? Steal candy from babies? These would make him a horrible person.
Accepting a head coaching job, which was a university decision to promote him to head coach, does not make him a bad person.
Sad to see an institution like that go, especially one that tended to run his program with class and dignity.
I recognize it's all about results, but there's still something to be said for character.
At this rate all the SEC will have left are obnoxious pricks like Meyer and Saban.

I can remember a time when most Alabama fans were ok, but Saban has changed the fan base to one that in my opinion was a good place to visit win or lose in T town to other places that have a reputation.
Fulmer didn't stab majors in the back majors was in the hosp and fulmer won few games the AD made the change not fulmer, what is he suppose to do lay down and lose? what an idiot would make that analogy. Scoop, I have never seen you so vehement on the rant! I guess not being a Bama fan, I can't appreciate how hated Fulmer was by Bama fans. It was time for him to go, though. I would tone it down a little bit or you might get thrown off the board. Just sayin'...KC.
