There are no real winners here. This is a black eye to the SEC and to LSU. But be real about what happened here. The SEC wants and should be able to self govern. An injunction against LSU effectively sets precedent to all institutions that and expulsion vote for not following rules would be held up in court. The league wanted that precedent to be set, but in no world could the commissioner convince the fine institutions of the SEC to boot a charter member. Especially a big six member. And it isn’t about LSU, all the schools riots run deep in this conference for nearly 100 years and would be afforded the same courtesy if it were them too.
