Skip Holtz would be great.

I have been very impressed by Skip Holtz. Solid coach and his team always plays hard. Look at what his "little" team at UCF did to ND.

Good call.

Yeah, because hehatedrew and PankReb are the guys who hire coaches at Ole Miss.

And few of us ever said that he'd win championships or anything for us. We said he was better than his predecessor, meaning we were fine with his hiring. I don't think that's a false statement.

Also, so many of you Hogs go off on wild tangents about the guy's personal life as if any of us give a flying frick.

What was there to learn that I couldn't already glean from TV? Hogville is the most retarded, groupthink prone SEC site out there aside from maybe the Tiger Rant and Sixpack.

This. My biggest hope was that he'd keep us at an 8-9 win level for a while.

Easy, I dont think he is a great coach, only decent. I don't necessarily defend Nutt, I just find it retarded that Arky fans even give a frick about him after this long...

I would put the Spirit up there with any of those as the most over the top homeristic boards out there. All of them are nice for a good chuckle if you need a pick me up during the day.

They're ranked now. I think that he could assemble some talent to have Ole Miss competitive.

I don't think we're going to be a worldbeater, but I want to go back to the way this team was in the late 90's where we'd keep most of our games in the SEC close (win some, lose some), while blow the fricking shite out of lower-tier out of conference opponents. IMO, that's how it's supposed to be in this conference.

I'm sure Oregeron would come back in a heartbeat. Maybe give him another shot as clearly he would make a solid college coach.

I know how you feel. I was taking the wait and see approach with Houston Dale for this season. But he hasnt shown me anything. He is a great SunBelt coach, the only problem is this is the SEC.

Nutt will look really, really bad all year. When he plays LSU, his team will look like world champions. Happened when he was at Arkansas and now at Ole Miss.

ETA: Houston Nutt always needs one extremley talented player on his team. Matt Jones, Darren McFadden, Dexter McCluster, etc.. I don't think he has that this year.

Don't count Nutt out, just yet. He's better than Ogreron.

I was actually being serious, well, maybe not with the keep him forever comment but I don't think there is much else out there right now that would be a better hire for OM. In a year or so, who knows?

Houston Nutt is the Quarterback Killer, the man does not know how or when to pass. He is the worst Offence Coordinator "want to be" ever born. His game plan is simple. Run left, run right, run up the middle, and Punt.

We look forward to the he will get again this year!
