Yep. The Gators threw UCF a bone by giving them a chance to host UF at their place. The 1 part of the deal was a huge opportunity missed. It would have given UCF a chance to show it is capable of hosting big time football, and improve on the perception that its nothing more than a small-time, wannabe outsider too scared to play top 10 opponents. The fact that they turned down that chance tells you all you need to know.
