Even Alabama fans have figured it out. The game has passed him by, and he's not long to retirement.

Had he gone into the void without us having ever beat him, it would have been tough to handle.
I'm glad it's out of the way. He was the greatest (not IS, but WAS...I firmly believe that) and we will always have that game to point to, and that gif of him melting to laugh at.

I would guess this is the last year. He has no energy. He's not engaged.

He could coach until he's 80 but if I had to guess, he'll retire after 2 more seasons. Still young and healthy enough to enjoy retirement and probably still be able to be connected to football on some level very productively.
I think 72 is the magic number. For he and his family's sake, I hope he retires by then. He's done enough for the University of Alabama and all the fanbase.

UGA won against Saban three times. I don't know many teams who've won more against him.
