Iv'e been looking at some fairly new fiberglass bass boats but at the moment can't get up the 30 or 40k for one.
My bass tracker is excellent for just me and a friend to fish out of. Its a 88 model tx17 with a 60hp johnson. It gets beat up on big waves but fishes good

Yea, bass boats have went out of the roof. Its just stupid. The boat that I bought 10 years ago for 25K, now will cost you 55K brand new. That is just stupid. Same boat basically. over twice the cost.
They have priced themselves out of the market.

Right now, you would have a hard time getting a boat loan even if you had 40% cash. The boat business is dead. My tournament partner owns the local dealership here where I get my boats. They are living off their service department. The bank wont give boats loans right now unless you are loaded.
You had better have 750 credit or higher and have over 40% downpayment or GTFO
