You can't deny the perception over the last 5 years (when these kids were in 8-12 grades) that Ole Miss sends more people to the NFL. This is not a pissing match between OM/MSU, I'm talking about what we are selling to a recruit. It is called being a salesman and throwing figures out that are in your favor. That is how you recruit.

Again we are talking about high school kids and their perception of a guy who they talk to once a week if that. He is looked at outside of the MSU fanbase as a cocky prick. It is just the way it is.

Errr I imagine it's more along the lines of Mullen realizing his class is falling apart and his mantra that 'tsun doesn't recruit MS players, I do!!1!' is blowing up in his face. So in attempts to save some dignity he begs CJ to pretty please come to State and thus either totally goobs and/or irks CJ somehow, and this feeble attempt looks like it has somehow potentially backfired

How many of ya'll have talked with Nutt or Mullen? I'm just curious as to where the "Mullen is a prick, pompous, arrogant arse" comments came from.

Well mostly just the fact that my 8 year old cousin was getting a jersey autographed by all the coaches and players and Mullen told him point blank, "hurry up and find the pen kid I have better things to do."

I really don't even care. I don't expect CJ to come. I'm still ready for another winning season and getting excited about baseball until conference play starts.

Well his TSUN and egg bowl clock are pretty damn annoying. Also on page 2 or 3 on this thread a Florida fan called him a prick. He talks more about another school besides his own than any other coach in the country. Especially when he has done a thing besides win a bowl game against a terrible Michigan team.

Well I was at the lyric one night bumpin a couple lines. Houston bumped me outta the way. I looked at him like, "what the hell man." He said, do yoouuu know who's I am boy? Then he slammed the rest and took a co-ed into the back room.
