Coastie, I always have sympathy for animals. The other day I had to run to PetSmart, and they happened to have animals for adoption that day. I stopped to pet this one poor dog, and she wanted me to take her home so bad. She was crying when I walked away, and I teared up in the parking lot. Much as I'd love one, I just don't need a dog right now.

I was over it the day they announced it. I get really excited and involved during the speculation phase but once something definitely happens I deal with it. I have too much other shite going on in my life to be too terribly affected by any of it. I was shocked when they named John L Smith the interim but I'm over that shite too and ready for football to start.

Same here. I don't mind cats, but for some reason seeing a dog in a cage or suffering really gets to me. One kind of fricked up example of this is I saw a homeless guy in Jackson with a dog and I found myself feeling worse for the dog.
