Doesn't hurt that he's from Atlanta and he and J Smoove are good friends. The new Hawks management is doing work.

New GM is apparently pretty smooth. Got rid of Joe's awful contract and got talent in exchange. I was impressed. At this point, I have complete faith that he'll make the right moves until he proves otherwise. I'd be interested in how he would run Dimitroff's job. Might not be as good at talent evaluation in the NFL but dude must be a pretty smooth talker.

St. George Island, due south, is pretty nice.

This about 90 miles I think? Best "beach" nearby. There are closer places with coastline but no beach.

And it won't be full of drunk college kids? Maybe I'm overestimating their power

On MLK day? I'd imagine this would be fairly light. Weather isn't THAT great right now that peeps would necessarily think HEY we should all go get drunk at the beach.

Time for water, grape juice, and a book. I'm not up for doing this again tonight. Even if there is easy split tail for the taking.

You went 3/4 tard today... I'll give you a pass as I think it was "group think" mentality.

Are there restaurants/things to do

Yes. A lot more in Destin but that's traffic and a headache. San Destin then East along scenic 98 has very nice towns, good seafood. I definitely recommend staying east of Destin. St. George is very small and residential. For family you'd probably be better off going to San Destin or further over...longer drive though I think.

Close to where we stay, and not, it's not drunk college kids. We stay in Seagrove Beach, right up the road. Pretty quiet but a lot of restaurants and things. Nice beaches. I love it.

Not where I recommended. I don't enjoy the undergrad crowd anymore.

Been there done that got the T-shirt. Hated undergrad though. Business school for Masters is about 1/3 as difficult as my undergrad was (if that).

This. Avoid Destin and PCB. The areas in between are mostly undergrad free. Great restaurants and stuff... without the headache of undergrads.
