Had no answer for his left hook, great game

He played a great game. No doubt about it.

Speaking of Loyola, anybody remember the ultra-high-scoring Loyola-Marymount teams of the late 80s, early 90s? (Different Jesuit school, same name)

In the 1989-90 season, they averaged 122 points per game.

In the 1989 NCAA tourney, Arkansas beat them 120-101.

I'd love to know what (if anything) he changed post-Illinois State

He resumes at UALR and Illinois State were pretty bleh

He was good at UALR, but they've had better coaches. I suspect it's mostly about better talent at Loyola, but idk.

Both teams have cursive writing on their uniforms. Which seems retro today since many schools don't even teach it to kids today

How to cripple this generation? Require cursive, ability to read a clock with hands and drive a stick shift.

Prohibit GPS and force them to buy an annual Rand McNally interstate and HWY atlas and stop at cheap gas stations to buy the local city map off of the carousel on trips outside of town

Interesting note. Moser was an assistant at Texas A&M in the 90s, before becoming an assistant to Wimp Sanderson at UALR. Sidney Moncrief kept him after taking over for Wimp and Moser got his first head coaching job by taking over for Super Sid.

Big Ten higher seeds are taking it on the chin. Lower seeds have played well though.
