Dang, I live in Orlando and listen to him every day after work, I never thought someone would bring him up on the SECrant. I love their show though, they're actually pretty good.

If you are a hometown sports journalist that is what you write. Or say as the case may be.

Some folks have disagreed vehemently with me on this... but once your home town media starts calling you a dog turd... well then you are a dog turd. Put a for sale sign up in front of your house.

the LAST caller of the show was an LSU fan and just straight stated FACTS in their face and they still can't take of their black and gold shades.

Joe Burrow had 8 touchdowns in SEC play this year. He had 4 against UCF. LSU could have named the score

In that case, I guess LSU wouldn't have had 45 minutes to 15 minutes time of possession advantage?

Except for red zone ineptness, LSU would have hung 60 on UCF. It was obvious from the start who had the stronger team... and I was surprised how dominant LSU was given all the subs playing. UCF was clearly outclassed.

I'll start by alluding to the stat sheet as well as the fact that your TD on the pick 6 was a blatant hold of the WR, the last deep ball TD of the half was on an LSU WR that hadn't played DB all season and by your last score of the game, we had 2 WRs in the secondary.

I'll also add that if both teams were at 100% health, LSU still wins easy because they already had 2 D-linemen out and still picked up 5 sacks. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE. I haven't even mentioned the fact that LSU straight up disrespected UCF by settling for a FG on the very first drive of the game instead of reviewing the CLEAR AS DAY touchdown by the QB. I'll end by saying that LSU continued to struggle with their inability to score from the redzone. They had multiple opportunities where they should have put this game far out of reach EVEN after being down 14-3 early.

The fact of the matter is LSU did not play as well offensively as the stat sheet would suggest. Yea they racked up some yardage and dominated the LOS and credit to Burrow for being a warrior, but the offense was just not very efficient over all and UCF is lucky they weren't embarrassed on the scoreboard.

My nephew agrees. Of course, he's twelve and wouldn't know a nickel package from a stacked box if they didn't have two different buttons on his X-Box controller, but...

This is the key to LSU taking the next big step in competing for a championship. Converting red zone appearances to 7 points is the difference between good teams and elite teams.

Thier back up qb score 23 points on you. Plus they got a pick 6. I'm sure a 23 game starter could find 9 more points.

You guys can’t read. A great offense beats a great defense. I never said anything about that offense WINNING the game.
