Ok, he obviously jumped to personal attacks quickly. But I’ve had people tell me that I need to get back to my inbreeding over questions like who does saban hire as next d coordinator.

Your infatuation with Louisiana and its residents, and LSU and Saints fans is duly noted.

Are you under the impression that the only people in the state of Louisiana who pull for the Saints live in New Orleans?

Yes, A&M fans call it the "Texas bump". Happens every single year, but this year is simply historical. Look at the offer lists, and get back to me

As soon as Shephard started flaking on Texas months ago, suddenly Hookfin starts rising up the lists. They had to slug it out with Baylor for him. Owens has the offer list of a 3* player, and he definitely wasn't "hidden" either at Plano ... but he's a 5* with one legit D1 offer. Worst offer list in history for a 5*. I could go on and on ...

They did get some legit studs - Whittington, Smith, Johnson, Floyd ... rest are meh inflated to look better. They lost virtually every head to head battle in the state this year, to both A&M and OU. LSU, and Bama took their usual pieces as well.

But it is all about perception with Texas

They're largely the same fanbase with the same mentality.

Yep. After this Saints loss, it's very clear. There was a 10 page conspiracy theory page on Saints Talk. Here's an example of some of the posts:

quote:

Because the NFL has wanted a market in LA for a long time and now they’re trying to further build the market.

quote:

You don’t understand the motivation behind attracting the 2nd largest television market in the United States, as well as the revenue behind The Rams being a successful franchise?

quote:

Not just the Rams, any team with a new stadium. Owners have an interest in getting teams with new stadiums into the big game. It benefits them when it comes time for them to push for their own new stadium.

10 pages of that shite. It can't just be a blown call with them, has to be this vast networking conspiracy against them. Not to mention they trolled the shite out of other fan bases all season long.

I wonder if they see this and don't care, or if they don't recognize it in themselves?

I live in Louisiana and have done so for many years. They don't recognize it and genuinely believe, right down to their plums everyone is out to get them.

They're the "George Costanza" of not only college football but the NFL as well. Even before this recent saints no call, they've looooong believed Roger Goodell is out to get them.

Last sunday their paranoia was rewarded and don't let them fool you, they're deeply satisfied.

Man, I bet you feel so much better now that you've gotten this off your chest. It was clearly weighing on you very heavily. Now the whole world will see what you see, and you'll no longer be the crazy one!

Congrats on the successful crusade!

Oh, I just saw you only had about 150 posts and that you just created this account. You’re an alter, probably cajunbama or texag7. And look at that, almost every post is about LSU in a derogatory manner.

It’s funny you say LSU fans are victim mentality in nature considering that according to many publications LSU is a top ten program all time and is the 8th most valuable program after going through some lean years. But you obviously know all that, considering how infatuated you are with LSU.

Every day that goes by, I find out more crap about Texas university that makes me not like them. Even if my wife went there...

Umm, not sure what you're talking about but LSU gets quite a bit of support from New Orleans. Yes there is a segment of the Saints fanbase that doesn't care about the college game, there is also a segment of the LSU fanbase that doesn't care about the professional game. But aside from that, there is a ton of overlap between the two fanbases.

The OP was a personal attack to an entire group of people, guy. What exactly did you expect the response to be?

Nope, They have a lot of bama fans, State fans, ole miss fans, Aggie fans, and Arkansas fans that pull for the Saints. It is a different fan base.

Well, you live in Louisiana. So according to you, you have a victim mentality.
I’m satisfied that the state of Louisiana has someone who lives there who cares so much about it that they’re willing to point out all flaws in it, yet at the same time they contribute nothing of worth to make any changes.

The greater new Orleans area which includes new orleans, the west bank, Metairie, laplace and the north shore is filthy with lsu fans.

I'm flanked by them and I talk to them every day.

I grew up in the northshore. I went to school with all Tulane fans. The LSU fan base is not nearly as strong as Baton Rouge. That was during the Curly Holeman Era. They may have more Bandwagon fans now. I havent been there in quite some time.

Exactly, so by your own choice of words that means that you have a victim mentality.
