OU vs UGA 2017. If OU wins that game they win the NC. One of the few times in CFB where the best team didn’t win the ball game.

Doubtful. The OU defense wasn't particularly good. I think Bama would have handled you pretty easily in the championship game.
UGA was still running a pro-style offense in 2017 (with Chaney as our OC). We were not particularly dynamic on offense. That offensive performance even before OT was only topped by UGA that year when they played Mizzou.
It's a bit of a reach to say that if you beat the team that beat you that you'd cakewalk through the team that beat them in the next round.
