you shouldn't. i would guess that about 87% of the posters on this board have a moderate to severe learning disability.

Sounds like a problem you have with your own management. Go Boycott, fire the AD, withdraw from the SEC. Do whatever you want to do about it.

they think they should get all the night games; get to dictate everyone's schedule based on who they feel are the better teams; be able to determine how the conference declares divisional winners; decide which games should be considered rivalries and when they're played; they think they should get special treatment on which uniforms teams should wear;

what's your point?

if LSU withdrew from the SEC, the conference would be in shambles and last maybe 5 years before being split up between the other major conferences.

nobody wants that

You should realize that he completely made up the sentence that you quoted. No one in this thread stated that LSU fans prefer 230 games.

So you have weighed the pros and cons, and have come to the conclusion that getting the money and staying in the sec will be the best option.

I am glad we got everything straightened out.

You said this about the LSU fans who want more night games:

quote:

I just wish those fans would stop being so vocal. The 95% of unreasonable LSU fans give us 5% of good ones a bad name.

And it seems you still can't understand what I actually wrote there.

Oh I get it, I just think its sad that you seem to have such contempt for your own fan base. Maybe you should go root for someone else if you hate 95% of LSU people so much.

Obviously you do not as twice you've used it as evidence of me saying 95% of people prefer 230 games.

I went to LSU, why would I root for someone else? It's not my fault that our fan base has a large portion of insufferable douchebags. But really, which fan base doesn't? It's not an LSU thing, it's a people thing.

I was referring to FlukerFlakes and one of these other idiots.

Yes, wanting to protect our traditions is definitely the sign of an insufferable douchebag.

I'm for this. I'm also for eliminating regular season games not on Saturday and morning kickoffs.

Once again, you seem to be finding subtext that isn't there. Being unreasonable makes you an insufferable douchebag. There are many things you can be unreasonable about.

Dude, look. None of the people that run your organization will ever agree or want what you say 95%, or whatever %, of LSU fans want. Why? Because LSU football is not in the business of trying to lose money. It is that simple. You can blame it on the SEC or whatever, but fact is, LSU admin would want 2:30 games even without the SEC CBS deal making them.

And like I said, if its all about money then why don't we just let the networks make the schedule and throw divisions, rivalries and rotations out the window?

Hey Dale, let us know when your team gets the primetime CBS night game of the year, don't worry we won't be holding our breath.

What time of day you play a football game isn't a tradition.
